Excursion
The excursions of will be held on Tuesday, September 29, after the lunch.
It will consist of two parts - a walking tour in Bratislava Old Town and wine-tasting in Rača district
14:30 - Old Town Walking Tour
We will walk approximately 10 minutes from Moyzes Hall to a meeting point in front of the Slovak National Theatre (SND) on Hviezdoslavovo Square,
where our Old Town tour will begin. From here, we will split into three groups and continue with a guided walking tour of the Old Town,
where we will see some of the city's best-known landmarks and learn more about their history and legends.
The tour will take around 2 hours. Please wear comfortable shoes. You will also need them for the next part of the excursion.
16:30 - Transfer to Raca
After the walking tour, we will take a public transport (a tram) to Rača, a historic northern district of Bratislava.
It is renowned for its centuries-old winemaking traditions and scenic vineyards nestled at the foot of the Small Carpatians.
17:00 - Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting
In Raca, we will visit the local vineyards and learn more about the area and its wine-growing tradition with an expert guide.
The tour will be followed by a wine tasting, after which we will continue to a vineyard tent where
Slovak specialities and cold platters will be served.
